Oh, I'd found a crop of this piece unattributed in an article about Bastion, so I'm really happy to find the original piece! Such a simple, sweet, thoughtful take on the character - I like your earthier modification of the color palette, and the flowing shapes are so appealing. Can I ask what you inked with?

(Forgive the late comment) The entire painting is made with watercolors. I believe the outlines may have had a bit of gouache mixed in to give it a stronger, opaque feel. Hope that helps.

O.o what a beautiful work of art!!! The colors, texture, the style!!! Man so much win!!
Bastion is one of the best games I've played in a while. The music, so rich that I had to by the soundtrack and listen to it again and again. The gameplay, so beast. Man, so much love :3
